I am trying to install Ubuntu so I can dual-boot it with a pre-existing copy of Windows 10 on my hp-15 laptop. however, when I select continue after choosing normal installation while selecting it both connected or not connected to wifi, it throws the error code âubi-partman failed with exit code 10. further information may be found in /var/log/syslog. Do you want to try rerunning this step before continuing? If you do not, your installation may fail entirely, or be broken.â Whenever I select continue, it takes me through the rest of the install process, but never actually installs anything. Try again only provides the same ubi-partman error. I have tried editing the partitions as was described in ubi-partman failed with exit code 10 - ubuntu 18.04, but the change flags, along with most other options are grayed out. Any pictures can be provided if needed. I am also relatively new to Linux, so please try to keep it as simple as possible. Thanks for any help that you can provide.
